In the beginning of a new day, something was supposed to happen. I don't know wheither it's a good one or a bad one. It's one uncertain day to wait in Camp Half-Blood.
When you're in Camp Half-Blood, you have to be aware of your surroundings. Campers can pick on me anytime, and I have to keep my guard, so I won't be off guard when my friends either pick on me or prank me. Today was no exception.
I woke up from my bed, feeling relaxed and all. My golden hair was trimed yesterday, and it was amazing as ever. I got out of the bed, really feeling fresh and all. I always wished I could get a headstart on the day.
Overtime, whenever I tried to do something exciting, that crumbled, because I was picked on almost constantly. But not today. I learned how to defend myself, and that came from a surprising visitor.
I walked out of the cabin to see the new sunrise. I can see the cabins are lined up in an Ω shape, and the soil in Camp Half-Blood is really fresh and all.
Anyways, I walked towards the dining pavilion, and noticed some strange auras emanating from the dining pavilion. It's as if the aura didn't came from Greek lineages. That's when I began to grow concerned, if the safety of the camp is really in jeopardy.
I looked around, and saw this boy with a sword, but what's strange about it is that the sword is bent, like a crescent moon. My first guess is that his sword must have been bent from his previous encounters, but as I looked at it, theere's no evidence that the sword had been bent in the first place. I noticed that the sword had always been that way. I approached the boy slowly, and he looked at me and gasped.
"Hi...?" I said first.
"Hey." The boy said. "You're one of the campers here, right?"
"Yeah." I said. "My name is Josh McLean. Nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too, my name is Carter Kane." The boy said as we shook hands.
