Alina had left Maria standing at the Entrance of the Senate House, she just told her to 'Wait here and don't move' and then POOF she disappeared without a trace.
Maria sighed and leaned up against a large pillar, she was bored waiting for Alina. She wanted to do something, fight someone, hear someone scream. Wait, what did you just think?! Maria shook her head and pushed off from the pillar. Hear someone scream? Why in the world would she want that?
"You lost?" She heard a male voice and turned her head to the right, standing in the large door way to the Senate House was a tall boy. He must've been 18 years of age had long blue hair that was braided and ran down his back. He wore a blue suit and had a sword strapped to his waist.
"Oh, oh not at all. I'm just waiting for a friend, we're supposed to meet someone named Kayden." Maria replied to the boys question.
"I can tell you where he is, but you have to fight me first." He said and gripped the hilt of his sword, A fight? With him? Maria thought, she hadn't ever fought a Human before. But animals and monsters was a piece of cake.
"Alright, I'm in." Maria said and he smirked, he picked up a sword from the wall and tossed it to Maria. Right when she caught it a flash of blue went across and he was gone.
"Looks like the battle's already begun." She said and a grin spread across her face as she took a steady stance, this battle was going to be fun.

She rolled to the side and blocked his attack with her sword, sweat ran down the side of her face and hit the ground below her.
"You're good, for a beginner." He said and jumped back and sliced at her, but she managed to jump back also and a smirk appeared on her face.
"Who says I'm a beginner?" She said and black flashed in her vision, she blinked a few times but thought nothing of it and charged at him.
He raised his sword to counter but she slid under him and came up behind him, she sliced his back before he had enough time to realize she was behind him.
