Rhea Silvia was the lover of Mars and the mother of Romulus and Remus.
History[]
When Romulus and Remus were born, Rhea was forced to abandon them at the River Tiber, where Tibernius, the river god, swept them to safety. They were then found by Lupa the she-wolf.
In The Series[]
Rhea is seen in The Mark of Athena with Tibernius. They have both been helping the children of Athena with their quest for the past few hundred years.
They are mistaken as actors, Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn- from the film Roman Holiday.
They were seen "waltzing" down the lane as Annabeth and Percy were touring Greece. There they directed Annabeth to the starting point of the Mark of Athena.
