The Capitoline Triad was a group of three supreme deities who were worshipped in a temple on Capitoline Hill, in Rome. Two distinct Capitoline Triad's were worshipped in different times of Rome's history. Each triad held a central place in Rome's religion at the time.

Archiac Triad[]

The original deities worshipped were JupiterMars, and Quirinus. The structure was identified as a structure based on the grounds of the existence of Rome of the three flamines maiores, who carry out service to those three gods. 

Later Trinidad[]

These three figures mirrored the Etruscan divine triad. This trinidad consisted of Jupiter, Juno, and Jupiter's Daughter, Minerva
